If yes, the “Major Minor Week 2019″ is for you.

Date: January 16-23, 2019 (See “Dates of the Sharing Sessions” for details)
Time: 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
Venue: Academic Advising Office (AAO), Room 212, 2/F, Knowles Building

On each day of the “Major Minor Week”, AAO will invite different Faculties to join us for a causal sharing session in the late afternoon. Activities include:

  • Senior students will share their study experience in various majors/minors offered by the Faculty
  • Faculty Administrators will be there to attend to your enquiries
  • AAO will introduce you the latest tools for academic planning

Who is it for?

All undergraduates who are interested in learning more about postgraduate studies

What is it about?

This workshop aims at introducing to students the benefits and choices of postgraduate studies available at and beyond HKU. The guest speaker will provide participants with practical learnings so as to assist them in making informed decisions on their selection of programmes and to prepare them for the higher academic goal. Topics include:

  • Benefits of postgraduate studies
  • Choices in postgraduate studies
  • Requirements and pre-requisites
  • Timeline and preparation
  • Alternatives to postgraduate studies

AAO and the guest speaker will also take questions from the participants in the Q&A session.
