Online Orientation on Major/ Minor Selection

The second semester is coming and there is the Add/Drop period from January 18 – 29, 2016. This is the time for non-first year students to declare/ change their major/ minor programmes and for first-year students to explore by selecting courses of their potential majors. Do you know what should you consider when making this decision? Just spare 3 minutes to complete our online orientation on major/ minor selection (! You can get some practical tips from it and receive a special gift from our office upon completion!

If you want to discuss your ideas or get more information, our “When ‘Major’ Meets ‘Minor’ Fair” is for you! It will be held on January 21, 2016 (Thursday), 11 am – 4 pm in the Chi Wah Learning Commons with AAO Academic Advisers, Faculty Administrators and Careers Advisers helping you out! All undergraduates, particularly Year 1 and Year 2 students

For exploring different major and minor options available at the University

What can I get?

Advice from AAO Academic Advisers, Faculty Administrators and Careers Advisers

Administrators from AAO, Careers Advisers from CEDARS (Careers & Placement) and different Faculties will be there to provide face-to-face consultation on major / minor selection matters.

Special Talk

AAO Academic Adviser and Careers adviser from CEDARS (Careers & Placement) will give a special talk on the relationship between career planning and major/ minor selection.
