Major Minor Week 2019 (Sign Up TODAY)

Hope everything goes well with your add/ drop!

Glad to tell you that about 200 students have already joined our opening talk and the Faculty-based sharing session of Arts, Business and Engineering in the past few days. Thank you very much indeed for your support! Please note that the sharing sessions of Science, Social Sciences, Architecture, Education and Medicine will be held next week. If you are interested in the majors/minors they offer, sign up now!

Senior students studying various majors/ minors and office staff from these Faculties will be there to give you practical advice. AAO Advisers will also be around to help you make study plan and show you different academic planning tools.

Apart from financial support, many awards also provide enrichment opportunities to help students realize their potentials or to enhance their credentials for future studies and career pursuits. This Scholarship Workshop co-organized by the Scholarships Office and Academic Advising Office will help you prepare more effectively for your next scholarship application!

What can you expect from the workshop

In this workshop, you will gain knowledge and skills to enhance the success of your future scholarship applications. We will take you through the application process from the search to the award of scholarships, and highlight important points along the way to help you avoid making some common mistakes. Successful scholarship recipients will also share their first-hand experiences through a panel discussion. You can use your mobile phones to submit questions to us throughout our presentation. We will receive them in real time and will attend to them in the Q&A session.
