Dear Student,

Your Faculty Academic Adviser (FAA) and Other Learning Support

Welcome! Studying in HKU is an experience like no other and even though it is exciting to embark on your University learning journey, there may come a time when you feel like there are too many new things to handle. Watch this first (http://aao.hku.hk/video/video-05/)! Feel lost? Don’t worry.

Meet Your Faculty Academic Adviser (FAA)

To make sure that you are transitioning well, each first-year student is assigned to a Faculty Academic Adviser (FAA) who is a current teacher in your home Faculty. He / She will advise you on study-related matters and specific Faculty requirements. You are required to meet with your FAA at least once every semester in your first year.
